Dr. Sean Butler is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of BC. He received his Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from Simon Fraser University and completed his predoctoral residency with Vancouver Coastal Health. He has specialized experience in providing treatment for adults and adolescents with a range of mental health difficulties, including depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, emotion regulation problems, and grief and loss.

Dr. Butler’s approach to treatment is individualized, collaborative, and evidence-based, drawing upon his clinical training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). This means working with people to understand their life history, current concerns, strengths, and goals in treatment. Dr. D’Anne Howes has been a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia since 1998. She has worked in private practice and with organizations such as Health Canada for over 20 years. In her early years, she worked at Orion Health providing intake, assessment and medical/psychological reports, and treatment for client’s suffering from chronic pain. Focal areas included: interdisciplinary case management; individual therapy, biofeedback; mindfulness/relaxation training; pain management; psycho-educational groups; and return to work planning and implementation. Dr. D’Anne utilizes various different treatment strategies including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Cognitive Processing Therapy and is also trained in EMDR, which is successfully utilized for post-traumatic stress disorder recovery.

Dr. D’Anne has experience working with veterans, first responders and military personnel including RCMP. She also provides psychological treatment for family issues- including effective parenting, teens, adults, and those exploring gender identity and transition.
